Religion Bookshelf

Must Have!

"more than an oddly configured bookshelf. It's a theological observation, maybe a hope. The shelf was curated by John Simonian and designed by Mike and Maaike out of reclaimed hardwood to bring the world's most influential religious texts together and present them equally, on the same level. The shelf acknowledges and celebrates their coexistence."

Andrew Zbihlyj

Soooo dope.

Kiev L’oreal Academy / m2r

Class is in session!

The main purpose of the Academy is to do trainings for our hairdressing clients - most seminars involve a theoretical “classroom” style training, followed by a practical “hands-on” segment where the clients can actually practice applying hair color to models under the supervision of one of our trainers. The multi-functional aspect of the Academy allows us to perform two different seminars simultaneously. The Academy can also be used for larger seminars of 50-75 people of a “look and learn” format. Finally, the room can be completely opened up to host public-relations events, fashion shows, and product launches.

Banksy

Banksy is well known around the world in no small part due to his massive popularity online. Banksy art has made its way into all kinds of nooks and crannies on the internet but few collections are anything close to comprehensive (and in many cases are not even coherent). Most are difficult to navigate and devoid of context, featuring disparate works alongside one another without explanation.

$5000 Paper House

Swiss company The Wall AG has a perfect solution for third-world shanty towns, semi-permanent refugee camps and approximately 7.2% of adult Americans: paper houses!
This isn't mere papercraft—the
Universal World House is a $5,000, 390-square-foot modular home, outfitted with plumbing and boarding facilities to support up to eight (eight!) residents each. The secret of its construction is its "paper" shell; the resin-soaked cellulose, made from recycled paper, is shaped into honeycomb walls, which provide structural integrity and insulation to the houses.
Aside from having a convertible closed/open-air kitchen with table and benches, the Universal World House has a hidden killer feature:
It has been designed so that a family can slaughter an animal on the veranda, wash it in the shower and hang it, along with fish, on an integrated washing line.
